| About Me: After working too many years of nights and weekends and holidays in retail I started my business to spend more quality time at home with my family. I have hands on experience caring for young babies and toddlers. I helped my Mom run her child care business for10 years. I started my own babysitting service during my high school years and I've raised a sweet well mannered child of my own. My friends and family always said I should start my own day care business because I love little kids so much. Children love crafts, we'll use our imagination to create art with crayons, stickers, finger paints and playdoh. Your child will learn new skills that help build pride and self esteem while having lots of fun. I want the children in my care to enjoy old fashioned playtime, reading stories and learning about letters, numbers, colors and animals. We have a chalkboard to doodle on and practice letters and numbers. On pretty days we can spend time outside blowing bubbles or sitting on the swing. We have a playhouse, a wagon, a basketball hoop, lots of balls and soft green grass to run and play on. We also have several friendly doggies who love to be petted. Who you choose to care for your child is a big decision, We tried both and my daughter was much happier in a private home child care than in a large day care setting. She was sick less often, she had lots of individual attention. She also seemed more relaxed and content than in the "big" day care. The lady who cared for her was just like a grandma and that made her feel safe, secure and loved. It's so much easier for Mommy and Daddy to go to work knowing their little one is having a great day! |
