About Me
After too many years of nights, weekends and holidays working in retail I started my business to spend more quality time at home with my family. Child care has always been something I enjoyed doing, I love being a Mom....it's the best "job" I've ever had. I have hands on experience caring for young babies and toddlers. I helped my Mom run her child care business for several years. I started my own babysitting service during my high school years and I've raised a sweet, well mannered child of my own. Children love crafts, we'll use our imagination to create art with crayons, stickers, finger paints and playdoh. Your child will learn new skills that help build pride and self esteem while having lots of fun. I want the children in my care to enjoy old fashioned playtime, reading stories and learning about letters, numbers, colors and animals. We have a chalkboard to doodle on and practice letters and numbers. On pretty days we can spend time outside blowing bubbles or sitting on the swing. We have a playhouse, a wagon, a basketball hoop, lots of balls and soft green grass to run and play on. We also have several friendly doggies who love to be petted. By law anyone caring for children in SC must be registered, have a live fingerprint scan done that includes all adults and children over the age of 15 that live in their home, they must meet zoning requirements and complete continuing child care education classes during the year. I have a tax ID number and provide parents a document to file with their taxes at the end of the year to receive credit for money paid in child care. |
